Phenomenal stay here, perfect for a couple! The place is so tranquil, amazing to chill out on the hammock or at the sea (has its own private deckchairs!) Great location with views of the Lake and sunset. So close to the split (therefore lazy lizard and sip and dip). Staff are really nice, Mita basically runs it herself just now, making sure you have everything you need. She let us drop our bags at 8am so we could go on a tour. Nice spacious room, good showers. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, great location, remarkably clean, and very affordable! Would recommend for those looking for a quiet safe spot away from (but still close to) the island activities
This hostel is amazing value for money, the rooms are nice and spacious, the bathrooms were always clean. There are also chairs reserved for the property on the beach which is really great on caye caulker. It’s also really well located, there’s so much really close to the property but it also felt quiet and calm.
Wonderful location right next to the split and sea. Very clean, shiny, nice having the hammock and seating area by the sea. Staff were lovely. One of the cheaper places in caye caulker so feels like good value. The one-coffee limit was a bit of a shame, and you have to pay to refill your water bottle (so drink lots of free cups instead!).
Loved my stay here and I extended so I could stay longer. It’s a great location for exploring Caye Caulker - near lots of restaurants and bars and the dive centres. Having a hammock outside your room and loungers on the sea side are an added bonus
Sophie’s guest rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The view to the ocean, the beautiful sunsets, the clean rooms and secure safes - it is all wonderful. The staff are absolutely incredible and so welcoming. Everyone I met was so friendly. Candy worked so hard and made sure the entire place was spotless!! Beautiful hammocks outside each room to relax! Loved my time in Caye Caulker. Thank you!
We had an amazing stay at Sophies Guestrooms, the owners aswell as the staff are very kind. We were able to stay longer due to weather circumstances on the island which was very sympathetic. Overall amazing!
We Loved our stay at Sophie’s. The accommodation was in a great location, the staff were lovely and very helpful and bathrooms were cleaned at least once a day. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in a basic room with no AC. It was very clean, professionally ran and excellent showers. Not having access to a microwave 24/7 was frustrating at times. Paying for water was also a shame as the majority of places we stay have free drinking water. I did my PADI open water dive qualification at a place located 5 mins walk away. Great location for sunset.
